Welcome to Promise Neighborhood
Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota (PN) is located on the southeast side of Saint Cloud, between Talahi and Lincoln Elementary schools. PN provides year round academic programs for youth and resources and trainings for adults.
PN creates leadership and economic opportunities for the communities that we serve.

Healthy Families / Thriving Communities
Promise Neighborhood provides multi-generational support to improve and sustain family stability, increase academic commitment and achievement and develop new leadership.
Math and Reading Club
120 students, grades K-6, attended the afterschool club throughout the 2017-18 school year. There were more than 100 volunteers who stepped up and helped in this effort.
Summer Camp
30 children attended out six-week camp in 2017 where they were taught STEM-based curriculum by a licensed teacher.
Girls Group
An average of 15 girls, ages 7-12, attended bi-weekly 90-,imute sessions which focused on leadership development and academic success. A total of 17 volunteers from the school system, higher education and medical fields supported this program.
Early Childhood Development Parent Workshop
35 parents attend this ongoing bi-weekly 90-minute workshop (average 12 per session). These parents expand their knowledge and skills relating to parenting children ages 0-3 and gain leadership skills by helping in the group's facilitation.
Writing Workshops
25 adults attended and demonstrated improvements in their writing and grammer.
Adult Leadership Development
25 adults developed their leadership and work-based skills by serving in paid and non-paid poistions at Promise Neighborhood. This helped them secure new or better paying positions in the broader community.
Group, One-on-One and Peer Mentoring Sessions
Supported 50 youths.
